Our son's Christmas Wishlist

Ok, well, he doesn't know this is his wish list, but I'm sure he'd love anything from this list. If you ask him, he'd say Legos, trains, a playhouse (dollhouse), and a small umbrella. I thought I'd expand on his interests for the inquiring grandparents.

1. Eat like an Engineer: wooden railway-breadboard with dining car and tunnel cup with wooden coaster.

2. Modern Playouse: Uncle Alan is going to have a go at making a playhouse similar to this.

3. Membership to Children's Discovery Museum

4. The Commute poster by the bird machine

5. Magnetic Art Board

6. The Black Dog book by Levi Pinfold

7. The Draw and Cook: 107 Recipes Illustrated by Artists from Around the World book by Nate Padavick

8. Flip-O-Storic book by Sara Ball

9. A Home for Bird book by Philip Stead

10. Legos

Best Show & Tell Ever

Every week my son gets to bring something for Show & Tell at his preschool. They're usually things the kids make or books or drawing. Yesterday my son asked if he could bring in ultrasound pictures of the new baby :) I was delighted and of course said YES. It was so sweet to listen to the other kids ask him questions like "what is it?" and "where did you get it?" I'm due at the end of March.

An Awesome World

My favorite children's author is Dallas Clayton. He writes inspiring & unique books and has an amazing outlook on life. I seriously love the new commercial that Google Chrome made. And yes, I cried... within the first 8 seconds.

Bug Party

Last weekend we went to our pals' birthday party in Golden Gate Park. It was a double party for our friends' 4 & 2 year old kids. It was so fun with bouncy castles, yummy food from Bi-Rite, and homemade cupcakes with butterflies on top! Here are a few pictures from the party! And they sent us home with the cutest Kiwi Crate boxes (we made wings!!)
