senior portraits that feel like you… with your best friends!

creative, fun, natural photo sessions for high school seniors

I’m Kate Skogen, owner and lead photographer at JetKat Photo. With 30 years of professional photography experience, I specialize in creating natural, personal portraits that feel like you—not like a traditional senior portrait session.

I love photographing high school seniors outdoors, surrounded by beautiful trees, landscapes and the people they love. Whether it’s an individual session or a small group of best friends, I want the experience to feel relaxed, fun and completely natural.

I’m more interested in capturing your personality than posing you into a perfect smile. We’ll wander, talk, laugh, explore and let the photographs happen along the way. I’ll guide you when I need to, but I’m also happy to be a little like a fly on the wall while you’re simply being yourselves.

For group sessions, I photograph the friendships as well as each senior individually—the ridiculous moments, the genuine laughs, the little interactions, and the beautiful portraits you and your family will want to keep forever.

There is nothing overly formal or cookie-cutter about a JetKat senior session. My goal is to give you photographs that look and feel like this moment in your life—and like you.
