Pickin' Pumpkins in Petaluma

We ventured out of the city on Saturday. I've never seen the Golden Gate Bridge so foggy- you couldn't see the towers until you were directly under them! It was really amazing. I wish I could have gotten a nice photo, but I didn't.

We headed up to Petaluma to check out Peterson's Farm and get a few pumpkins! It's such a lovely farm and very family-friendly! There are horses, cows (long-haired, Highland Scottish), rabbits, geese, cats, dogs, and a bee hive! Most of the animal pens have buckets of food so you can feed them (for free). The have a great field in the back full of pumpkins. We picked a few, took some photos, had lunch at a deli downtown, and then headed back to SF.

A lovely & thorough review of the farm, including directions, can be found here.

Photos are all pretty self-explanitory, except for the photo of dried hanging flower pods. Can't remember what the farmer said they were... I was concentrating on the photo :)

Distracted

When I was printing my new posters, I got distracted and grabbed a onesie and the dark orange ink. What a cute little jelly bean.

The Big Question

I sent a lovely book over to our sweet pals, Amanda & Bain. They have two little kiddies who'll hopefully love the book as much as we do! It's called "The Big Question," by Wolf Erlbruch. It's a great book that has the answer to why we're here on earth, according to Mommy, the pilot, the chef, etc…

It's technically for sale on Amazon, but I have no idea why they're charging $300+ for a new book. My bookstore has it, or can order it for about $12-15. Mountain Bookshop in Sonora.

Next book on the list is the super amazing book, An Awesome Book.
